By following a simple and effective process we ensure the solution meets your requirements, delivered on time and to budget. The process we follow for a software development project is outlined below:

• Define: we work with you to gain an understanding of your business and the problem you are trying to solve.
• Design: we design a custom software development solution to meet your agreed requirements. This will generally go through several iterations until we hit the sweet spot.
• Implement: we implement the agreed solution, involving you at various stages to ensure the solution remains appropriate, for example that forms, screens and processes work just the way you want them to.
• Test: we test your solution and then pass to you for Acceptance Testing. This will ensure you get an error free solution that meets your needs in every way.
• Deploy: we work with you to deploy the software development solution to your systems.
• Maintain: we don’t just deliver and go! We will be on-hand to deal with any issues that arise and to provide any modifications or enhancements that you require.

Our prices are geared towards the SME marketplace so you won’t be hit by the high charges of typical software houses. Depending on the nature of the software development project, we will quote either a fixed price or on a time & materials basis.

Bespoke CRM: We developed a web and mobile app for a customer that was using paper-based processes with some email. Staff in the UK and Ireland were out in the field (literally!) managing agricultural feed sales. The new web app was primarily used by admin in the office and HQ staff in the US. A companion iOS app was used by managers in the field, allowing them to capture data and process sales even when out of range of mobile data signals. Included was integration with QuickBooks accounts. Like many of our projects, we spent a day out on the farms to understand the challenges we had to overcome.

Telemarketing Campaign Tracker: We developed a custom web app for a customer that was using multiple Excel sheets to capture data about and manage tracking of telemarketing campaigns. The existing process took one person almost a week to complete and had to be done every week. The new system allowed staff to enter data about campaigns that is processed in real-time into various reports the customer uses to manage staff assignments and campaigns. The reports are now up to date and available at any time, with the staff member freed to do fee-paying work.

CTPS Number Checker: a bit old fashioned this one now, but we developed a Windows application to enable the customer to check multiple data sets for numbers that had been registered with the Corporate Telephone Preference Service and should not be called. Sounds simple right? But the application had to cater for all the many ways that numbers had been entered, validating and normalising them to ensure accurate results. Scanning 10’s of thousands of numbers against a list of millions took some careful coding to make the app fast and efficient.
