Internet Conectivity

As with all our services, broadband is provided as a managed service. That means we’ll set it up for you, and if anything goes wrong you call us and we’ll get it sorted. What is available is dependent on your location. We can provide Full-Fibre (FTTP), Fast-Fibre (FTTC) and standard (DSL) broadband.

Our broadband services are provided by national carriers via ICUK based in Croydon. We prefer to use smaller companies because it gives us a personal relationship; we’re on first name terms with all of the team at ICUK!  We’ve been with them for nearly 15 years because they have always served us and our customers well.

What’s available to you today is entirely dependent on your location. Full-Fibre (FTTP or Fibre to the Premises) is rolling out across the UK. There are many carriers laying fibre, some established and some new to the market. Who will be providing full-fibre in your area will determine where you can get it from. Unfortunately, we will not always be able to provide your full-fibre service. Ofcom has mandated that only Openreach is required to offer their service on a wholesale basis to all ISPs. Other providers are free to keep their service in-house or provide via a limited set of ISPs. 

Where we are able to supply it, you will benefit from a locally managed service provided by us, backed up by highly skilled technicians from ICUK. We won’t just send you a box – we’ll come an install it for you and ensure it’s working as you need it.

All we need from you is a phone number or postcode to establish what services are available in your area. If we’re unable to provide for you we’ll tell you who can.

If we’re able to provide a service, we’ll tell you what you can get and what speeds you are likely to receive. With full-fibre, it’s up to you to select the speed you’d like.
